ASI 0458-CX | ASI Semi-Recessed Waste Receptacle
American Specialty Semi-Recessed Waste Receptacle: shall have a capacity of 12 gal (46 liters).
- Frame, waste receptacle and cabinet shall be fabricated of 22 gauge stainless steel alloy 18-8, type 304.
- Waste receptacle shall have hemmed edges for safety and shall have internal hooks for hanging a reusable vinyl bag (optional, supplied separately, models 58-PY for 12 gal)
- A tumbler lock keyed alike to other ASI washroom equipment shall retain waste receptacle.
- Face trim shall be 1" (25.4mm) wide formed from one piece with no miters, welding or open seams and have 1/4" (6.35mm) square return to wall.
- Structural assembly of all components shall be of welded construction.
- All exposed surfaces shall be No 4 satin finish and be protected during shipment with PVC film easily removable after installation.

Installation:
Mount unit in wall recess using No 10 self tapping screws (by others) through concealed mounting holes provided.
Note that top of rough wall opening is 3/4" (19mm) below top of unit.
Rough Wall Opening required is 15-3/4" W x 29" H x 4 1/4" RWO Depth

Operation:
Waste receptacle is emptied manually on cycle determined by maintenance requirements. Optional reusable liner bags (models 58-PY for 12 gal or 25-PY for 18 gal) may be purchased to hang on internal hooks or disposable bags (by others) may be draped over rim and held in place when receptacle is locked into cabinet.
Keyed tumbler lock prevents unauthorized removal.
